Spring seems well on it's way with temperatures hitting 14c, something that at Pennine is unheard of in Febuary. Long may it continue.......
With the unseasonal high temperatures buzzers and bloodworms have started to dominate the best catches.....
Very mild weather conditions have resulted in some good catch rates for anglers braving the westerly winds, with fish up to the 20lb mark being caught.
Young Daniel Grant (pictured left) with his first double of the season caught on a egg fly fished on the lower lake near the cages, daniel fishing with his dad also returned a further 43 fish.
