Catch rates keep rising........

With the mild weather still around fishing has been great with many fishermen catching into the double figures. Tatics still remain the same with surface to at most 6 foot being the best area to fish with the usual damsels, cats and yellow fritzs working well on the intermediate lines and buzzers and bloodworms on the floaters. If you see any rising fish cast at them as more often than not they will come and have a look at you, maybe try a floating fry or a deer hair daddy. Fish of the week goes to Mr John Dixon from Blackburn with a nice double caught on a home tied black buzzer fished from a floating line. Other notable catches have been Mr Grenville Stretton with 26 fish in 4 hours, all to egg flies fished near the cages on the top lake and Mr Lawson Bedford with 20 plus fish to damsels and buzzers. The lower lake is now back open (as from the (15th) although not yet fully stocked as this will be a gradual event over the next couple of weeks.
