Doubles continue to be caught.......

The recent stocking of doubles has proved a massive success with a continued steady catch rate of fish, with the success of this event we have now set a provisional date for the next stocking of early June with a similar amount of fish. Currently fishing remains good with decent amounts of fish caught on naturals like black buzzers, diawl backs and rubber legged daddies. Try intermediate lines when conditions are a bit cooler of are windy with olive snakes, black damsels or bloodworms generally around the 5 foot mark. Indicators have worked well up near the cages on white eggs and lime green buzzers. Fish of the week goes to Mr Lee McConkie from Oldham with a rainbow of 15lb caught on a white fritz lure from the top lake. Other notable catches were Mr Tyler Proud from Barnsley with a rainbow of 18lb caught on a nomad damsel, Mr Emmett from Upton Wirral with a 14lb plus caught on a montana and finally big fish specialist Mr Ceri Kenyon from Littleborough with a 11lb rainbow caught on a black and green buzzer. One last thing the phone line is back working again (diverted to my mobile with no extra charge to you) for bookings only we still are waiting for the card machine to be activated due to the fault on the line, so we still can only accept cash as payment.
