Daddies are out.......

With the damp mornings and the nice breeze the daddies are out in force and the trout are loving it, floating daddies and beetle patterns are working the best on dry lines more so when fished in the rippled areas. You can fish them static or stripped just depends on the conditions on the day, just remember to mix it up if you not getting any offers. Generally the fish are up in the first 5 foot so intermediate lines are still working but remember to count your line down so that your not fishing to deep, try the usual black snakes, dawson's olive and white fritz. Fish of the week goes to Mr Steve Cheeseborough from Blackpool with a nice bright double caught on a damsel fished from a floating line. Other notable catches were Mr Paul Davis from Heywood with 45 fish best at 16lb all to stick flies and small wets and Mr Lawson Bedford with around 30 fish to spiders and bloodworms best at 11lb and 2 at 8lb all caught on a floating line.
