Still having decent rises......

With the mild spell still with us we are enjoying good rises, with catches to suspended hares ears, muddled daddies and skinny cdcs. Floating frys are still worth a go when there is a ripple or even when fished quick just under the surface. Buzzers have been the favorite most days generally around mid morning with black or tan buzzers working the best when fished around 3 to 4 foot, best areas have been platform 4 and around the life buoy area on the top lake this possibly could change if the wind direct alters. Regarding the lures well same old story with the snake flies, black being the best. Also try green and white fritzs, yellow dancers and red leech rabbits all around the 5 foot mark. Fish of the week goes to Mr Graeme Redman from Abergynolwyn with a good double caught on a white egg fly fished from a floating line. Other notable catches were Mr Paul Suttcliffe from Wigan with a double weighing in at 14lb caught on a red leech, Mr Jay Francis from Stockport with a bag of fish weighing in at 29lb all caught to black buzzers fished from the life buoy. The double limit bags are to continue until 5pm on the 1st November 2013, so be quick!
