Do you want one like this?.....

Weather permitting the end of this season and the 2016 season will be very interesting fishing at Pennine as we've sucessfully took lots of big doubles though the summer something we have struggled with over the last couple of years. I've often said to regular customers that the days of 20lb trout (with photo's as proof) are a thing of the past in numbers anyway, but this year has been very encouraging with decent growth throughout summer. That said the fishery record of 29lb is still out of reach for the 2016 season but who knows the year after it may just be possible. Back to the current fishing....still remains good with naturals still around from 10 until 3, try daddies, black snails and black buzzers. Intermediate lines have picked up the better fish at around 5 foot with damsels, green nymphs and black cats being the best choices. Fish of the week goes to Mr Gary Collin from Wakefield with a cracking rainbow caught on a green nymph fished from a slow sink line.
