Important infomation on late evenings......

Sadly due to the poor uptake of the evening fishing the late passes and the Friday night late fishing have now finished, anyone who wishses for this service to resume next year then please email me and if the numbers are enough then I will try to start it again in 2014. Back to the fishing, early feedback on the spun rabbits have been good with the leech and pale olive working the best on sinking or intermediate lines. Floating lines continue to be popular with cdc's, buzzers and daddies working very well. The bigger fish that were stocked mid june have started to show a lot more with 9 fish between 12lb to 16lb being taken this week, most of the doubles have been caught to lures with cats whiskers being the most popular with 5 of the doubles falling to this pattern. Fish of the week goes to Mr Granville Stretton from Todmorden, Granville a Pennine regular caught the fish on a cats whisker from within the bay area on the top lake. Other notable catches have been Mr John Marsh from Royton with 17 fish, taking 3 fish for 24lb best being 15lb mainly to bloodworms with the double caught on a red leech spun rabbit.
