Temperatures set to rise.....

With the forecasters predicting a rise in temperatures later this week hopefully it will bring a bit more settled or at least more pleasurable conditions. We have had only a few hours of quite nice weather this week which has resulted in quite a poor turn out on the banks but that said a few doubles have been caught plus a number of tagged fish as well. Pennine regulars Mr Lawson Bedford and Mr Dave Manning have continued to hit scores into the 20's on both of there visits mainly to bloodworms and buzzers, Lawson's on a floating line while Dave has been a bit deeper on a intermediate. The shoal of fish that have been in the bay have started to move away from the spring and now seem to be allocated near the life buoy area around 6 foot from the bank....a few gold tags in and amongst them! Fish of the week goes to Mr Evan Miller with a nice silver double caught on a pink snake fished from a intermediate line from near the cages on the top lake. The hot spot on the lower lake has been near the water fall, plenty of fish buzzering around tip of the flow.....try a bloodworm or a skinny black buzzer and fish it on the drift.
