Sorry for the late post.......

A couple of days late with this weeks post due to staff holidays etc.... Right regarding the fishing it still remains very good with plenty of fish being taken to dries, mainly cdc's and orange hoppers fished static with the wind providing the natural movement. Also a fly worth a try is a black blob (weighted) fished from a floating line, but fish this fly fairly quick with long pulls and try to aim for any rising fish this sometimes results in a take almost instantly. Regarding intermediate lines try the usual dawsons olive or a sunk daddy around the 4 to 5 foot mark. Fishing hot spots have been the dam walls were the wind has been pushing the natural food into. Fish of the week goes to Mr Craig Collin from Wakefield with a personal best caught on a home tied dry fly tied by his father. Angler of the week goes to Mr Dave Manning with 31 fish plus a green tag fish all to buzzers fished from a floating line. This week we have a few more big tailed doubles going in plus the usual high standard of stock fish that should see the average creep back up again. Remember to check out the new page "how's the fishing" for all the current stats.
