The daddies are out.........

Warm days followed by cool damp nights are always a sign that the daddies will not be far away, just when the breeze picks up around 11.00am you start to see them drifting over the surface of the water from the long grass on the far bank of the top lake. It not a guarantee you will catch on one on your first few casts more so if its sunny, but if you stick with it and fish the fly differently you will find a method that the fish wants. Buzzers are also fishing well more so on the lower lake with catches into double figures from a number of anglers, the skinny type have worked the best when fished as a washing line method with a booby or a dry on the point. The best lure has been a old favorite the cats whisker with all the recent big stockings filtering into the system its a lure that very rarely fails. Fish of the week goes to Mr Duncan Cookson from Lancaster with a nice fish caught on a green and white snake fished from a sinking line. Please remember all Mastercards used will incur a extra charge of £1.00 per (Mastercard World £1.50) transaction. Finally, sorry about the website going missing.....I have no answers why!
